Tourism Development of Aeolian Geomorphosites in the Kumtagh Desert,China
Tourism development of aeolian geomorphosites in the Kumtagh Desert will improve both the harmonious development of human-nature relationship and the sustainable development of tourism industry in this region and its surrounding areas.This paper explored the tourism development strategies of the aeolian geomorphosites based on field observation,expert assessment,and systematic investigation and analysis.Suggestions are made in such three aspects that include tourism products,tourism commodities and tourism festivals.It is suggested,in accordance with the characteristics of aeolian geomorphology and requirements of tourist industry,that priorities should be given to ecological environment protection,tourism destination image and security management,as well as construction of infrastructural facilities.
