Coupling and coordination of digital economy and high-quality development of manufacturing industry in the Yellow River Basin and its obstacle factors
The deep integration of digital economy and manufacturing industry is an inevitable trend,and it is also an important way to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.Taking 9 provinces(autonomous regions)in the Yellow River Basin as the research object,this paper constructs an evaluation index system for the high-quality development of digital economy and manufacturing industry,investigates the cou-pling and coordination relationship and dynamic evolution trend of the high-quality development of digital econo-my and manufacturing industry in the Yellow River Basin in 2011-2022,and reveals the main factors affecting the coupling and coordinated development by calculating the obstacle factors.The results show that:(1)The high-quality development level of digital economy and manufacturing industry in the Yellow River Basin shows an upward trend.Based on the natural breakpoint method and ArcGIS mapping,it is found that there are signifi-cant differences in the high-quality development level of digital economy and manufacturing industry in the prov-inces of the Yellow River Basin,and the spatial distribution is uneven.The high-level areas are concentrated in the lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin.(2)The degree of coupling and coordination between digital econo-my and high-quality development of manufacturing industry in the Yellow River Basin is generally on the rise,but the level is low,which has improved from intermediate imbalance to slight imbalance,among which the cou-pling and coordination of the middle and lower reaches of the region is relatively good.(3)Through the identifi-cation of obstacle factors,it is found that the upgrading of industrial structure,the number of R&D personnel and software business income are the main secondary index obstacle factors,and the development of digital in-dustry,industrial coordination and green development in the criteria layer have the greatest constraints on coordi-nated development.Therefore,promoting the digital transformation of manufacturing industry and accelerating the coordinated development of digital economy and manufacturing industry are of great significance to achieve economic growth in the Yellow River Basin.
