末次冰期鄱阳湖南部厚田沙山物质来源

鄱阳湖周生态环境与土地沙化问题日益严峻,严重制约了区域经济发展,确定主要沙源及其迁移路线对风沙治理意义重大。鄱阳湖东北部的相关研究已相继展开,但南部地区研究尚不完善,尤其是末次冰期时南部沙山是远源搬运还是近源堆积的问题尚无定论。鄱阳湖南部厚田沙山的沉积时间被很好地确定,冰期地层沉积连续,因而是开展物质来源研究的理想场所。通过对厚田剖面末次冰期以来6件碎屑锆石样品进行了U-Pb年龄分析,共获得512个有效锆石U-Pb年龄。结果表明:沙山样品碎屑锆石U-Pb年龄最显著的峰为~830 Ma,次峰为~430 Ma,与华南板块新元古代晋宁、早古生代加里东两期构造-岩浆热事件对应;多维尺度(MDS)图分析也证实了沙山样品碎屑锆石U-Pb年龄组成与江南造山带东段九岭地区岩浆岩具有很好的相关性。研究区物源主要来自于近源的九岭山与赣江沉积物的混合物。其形成机制是末次冰期枯水期水位下降,导致发源于九岭山的赣江支流及赣江干流的河漫滩、河岸裸露地表沙物质在强劲的冬季风作用下短距离搬运至河流阶地堆积。
Provenance tracing of sand hills in the southern Poyang Lake during the Last Glacial Period
The ecological environment and land desertification issues in the vicinity of Poyang Lake are increas-ingly severe,posing significant constraints on regional economic development.While research on the northeast-ern Poyang Lake has been progressively undertaken,investigations in the southern Poyang Lake remain incom-plete.Particularly,the question of whether the sand dunes in the southern area were transported from distant sources or accumulated from nearby origins during the Last Glacial Period remains unresolved.The Houtian sand dunes in the southern Poyang Lake present an ideal location for studying material sources due to their well-estab-lished timing of deposition and continuous sedimentation.This study conducted U-Pb age analysis on six detrital zircon samples from the Houtian section,spanning from the Last Glacial Period to the present,resulting in a da-taset of 512 valid zircon U-Pb ages.Analysis outcomes reveal that the most prominent peak in detrital zircon U-Pb ages within the sand dune samples is approximately 830 Ma,followed by around 430 Ma,corresponding to the tectonic-magmatic thermal events during the NeoProterozoic Jinning period and the Early Paleozoic Cale-donian period.MDS analysis further confirms a strong correlation between the primary peak of the samples and magmatic rocks in the Jiuling region of the eastern segment of the Jiangnan orogenic belt,while the secondary peak exhibits good affinity with sand sediments from the Ganjiang River.Therefore,the provenance of the study area is mainly derived from the mixture of sediments from nearby Jiuling Mountain and Ganjiang.The formation mechanism is that the water level decreased during the dry period of the Last Glacial period,which led to the flood plain and bare surface of the banks of the Ganjiang River tributaries and the main stream of the Ganjiang from Jiuling Mountain,and the strong winter wind was transported to the river terrace for a short distance.
