Cellules musculaires lisses vasculaires technique combined with comprehensivce detumescene therapy for post-operative and/or post-radiotherapic lower limb lymphedema of gynecological malignant tumors
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of cellules musculaires lisses vasculaires(CMLV)combined with comprehensive detumescence therapy(CDT)on lymphedema of lower limbs in patients with gynecological malig-nant tumor after operation and/or radiotherapy.Methods A total of 120 patients with lower limb lymphedema after oper-ation and/or radiotherapy for gynecological malignant tumor admitted to 2 hospitals of Dalian Women and Children Medi-cal Center(Group)from January 2020 to June 2022 were randomly divided into study group and control group,with 60 patients in each group.The study group was treated with CMLV combined with CDT,while the control group was treated with CDT alone.The stage of lymphedema,bilateral lower limb volume difference ratio,GCLQ score,LYMQOL score and total effective rate of the two groups were com-pared before and after treatment.Results Com-pared with the control group,the stage of lymphedema de-creased significantly at the 0,3 and 6 months after treat-ment in the study group(P＜0.05);the lower limb vol-ume difference and GCLQ score of the two groups at 0,3 and 6 months after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment(P＜0.001);compared with the control group,LYMQOL scores and overall QOL scores at 0,3 and 6 months after treatment were significantly differ-ent(P＜0.05).Symptoms,body image/appearance,lower limb function and mood of the study group were improved more obviously than those of the control group.LYMQOL scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group at 0,3 and 6 months after treatment,and overall QOL scores were lower than those of the control group at 0,3 and 6 months after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The quality of life of the study group was improved more obviously than that of the control group.Conclusion Cellules musculaires lisses vasculaires com-bined with comprehensive detumescence therapy is effective for lower limb lymphedema in patients with gynecological malignant tumor after operation and/or radiotherapy,which can reduce lower limb edema and improve the quality of life of patients,and is worthy of popularization and application in clinic.
