Meconium-stained amniotic fluid is one of the common problems during labor,and its resulting meconium aspiration syndrome is the main cause of neonatal mortality in China.This article reviews the risk factors and mechanisms,classification,maternal and fetal prognosis and management of meconium-stained amniotic fluid based on the latest researches both domestically and internationally.
