Pre-pregnancy management of infertility with metabolic syndrome
Metabolic syndrome(MS)is a clinical syn-drome characterized by clustered onset of obesity,hyperglycemia,dyslipidemia,and hypertension.Poly-cystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is the most common type of infertility with MS.MS is an important cause of gestational hypertension,gestational diabetes mellitus and other comorbidities or complications,as well as poor perinatal outcomes.Therefore,reasonable control and correction of pre-pregnancy overweight,hyper-tension,and glucose and lipid metabolic disorder has positive significance for improving pregnancy outcomes and healthy reproduction.
