Analysis of vaginal microecology in reproductive age endometrial polyps patients
Objective To explore the vaginal microecology characteristics in patients with endometrial polyps of repro-ductive age. Methods A total of 224 patients of reproductive age diagnosed with endometrial polyps through hystero-scopic surgery in Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from January 1,2017 to December 31,2020 were selected as the study group, and 448 healthy women during the same period were selected as the control group, and the differences in vaginal microecology between the two groups were compared.A total of 224 patients with endometrial polyps were di-vided into normal vaginal microecology group and abnormal vaginal microecology group, and the clinical characteristics of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed.Results(1)The incidence of vaginitis in patients with endometrial pol-yps group was higher than that in healthy women(33.9%vs.19.0%,P<0.001),and the incidence of the normal propor-tion of viginal microewloy in patients with endometrial polyps group was lower than that in healty women(42.4%vs.60.7%,P<0.001).Excluding patients with confirmed vaginitis, the incidence of abnormal pH value of vaginal discharge and Lactobacillus grade Ⅱb~Ⅲ.in patients with endometrial polyps was higher than that in healthy control(23.6%vs.6.6%,P<0.001;12.2%vs.6.6%,P=0.038).(2)Among the 224 patients with endometrial polyps, the incidence of ab-normal uterine bleeding, infertility and cervical polyps in the abnormal vaginal microecology group was higher than that in the normal vaginal microecology group(74.6%vs.61.7%,P=0.039;28.5%vs.16%,P=0.029;25.4%vs.13.8%,P=0.035),and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Compared with healthy control, reproductive age en-dometrial polyps group have a higher incidence of vaginal microbiota abnormalities, and Clinician should paid attention to the evaluation of vaginal microecology.
