Postpartum hemorrhage is the leading cause of matemal mortality worldwide, posing a threat to the safety of pregnant women globally.Although China has seen a significant decrease in maternal mortality rate over the past 30 years, but with the release of policies allowing for second and third child, there has been an increasing number of high-risk pregnant women and a rising incidence of severe postpartum hemorrhage.Identifying high-risk factors for postpartum hemor-rhage during pregnancy and timely transfer and con-sultation between different levels of midwifery insti-tutions are key management measures to prevent severe postpartum hemorrhage and reduce maternal mortality. Our team reviewed cases of severe postpartum hem-orrhage in the region, summarized the transfer and consultation situations as well as pregnancy outcomes, and proposed a strategy for transferring high-risk pregnant women with postpartum hemorrhage and the consultation within the region. This can serve as a reference for graded diagnosis and treatment man-agement of critically ill pregnant women in different regions.
