Early identification and whole-process manage-ment of pregnancy complicated by aortic dissec-tion
Pregnancy complicated by aortic dissection is a cardiovascular disease that seriously threatens the life and health of women.Early identification and whole-process management are the key to reducing its mortality rate.Pregnancy is an independent risk factor for aortic dissection in Chinese people.Sudden severe chest and back pain, cardiovascular complications, and poor perfusion of internal organs indicate the occur-rence and progression of aortic dissection.Trans-esophageal echocardiography is a necessary initial imaging assessment method for patients with suspected aortic dissection, and magnetic resonance imaging is the preferred diagnostic method for clearly identifying aortic dissection during pregnancy.Treatment plans and surgical strategies should be formulated separately based on the gestational age, type, aortic diameter and growth rate. The diagnosis and treatment through multidisciplinary team collaboration is the basis for improving maternal and fetal prognosis.
