Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis(HLH)is an abnormal immune system condition that may occur during pregnancy, usually triggered by infections, autoimmune diseases,or tumors.Hormonal changes and immune modulation during pregnancy increase the susceptibility of pregnant women to HLH,presenting with persistent high fever, hepatosplenomegaly, and hematological abnormalities. This condition endangers maternal health and can also affect the fetus, leading to preterm birth or fetal distress. Therefore, early rec-ognition and timely treatment are crucial to optimizing maternal and infant outcomes.
