Selection of a New Variety of Stropharia rugosoannulata by Polyspore Self-crossing
The high-quality Stropharia rugosoannulata cultivar Mingda 128 was taken as the parent,and a new strain S18 with strong mycelial growth and high yield was obtained through multi-spore self-crossing.The new strain was identified and the va-riety regional test was conducted.The result showed that S18 is up to the standard of new variety identification,and it is recog-nized by Zhejiang Crop Variety Identification Committee and named as Qiugaigu 18.The optimum temperature for mycelial growth is 18-22℃,and the optimum temperature for fruiting is 14-25℃.The Fruit body is solitary or tufted,stocky,pyknotic,and not brittle.The pilei are convex,thick and yellow-brown to tan,with diameter of 4.81-5.19 cm,covered with scales.The stipes are cylindrical,white,with diameter of 3.54-3.75 cm.The average biological efficiency is 77.4%.It has characteristics of high yield,good quality and good marketability.It is suitable for facility cultivation and under-forest cultivation.
