Abstract
Throughout the development process of Total energy,it is not difficult to find that it closely follows the changes of the global energy market pattern and metamorphosis.In recent years,with the acceleration of the global energy transition to low-carbon,the huge potential of the new energy industry has attracted more overseas giants to increase their layout.Together with Time,Total Energy,a former oil & gas giant,has reshaped its research and development structure,accelerated its transition into a diversified energy company,and set a timetable for itself:transforming from the world's top five international oil companies to the top five renewable energy producers within a decade.The target has been set for nearly five years.According to Total Energy's first quarter of fiscal 2024 financial statements,the hydrocarbons(renewable energy)and power businesses are both profitable.
