Objective To analyze the effectiveness and success rate of superficial ultrasound assisted enema treatment in pediatric intussusception patients. Methods A total of 70 pediatric intussusception patients who were clinically admitted to Hanjiang Hospital from January 2019 to December 2022 were selected.According to the random number table method,35 children in the observation group received superficial ultrasound assisted enema treatment, while 35 children in the control group received air enema treatment under X-ray.The treatment effect and success rate of reduction were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of reduction in the observation group was 97.14%,which was significantly higher than 80.00%in the control group. The conversion rate to surgery was 2.86%,which was significantly lower than 20.00%in the control group. The adverse reaction rate was 5.71%,and the short-term recurrence rate was 2.86%in observation group, both significantly lower than 25.71%and 22.86%of the control group(P<0 05).The observation group had significantly shorter reduction time and hospital stay compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical application of superficial ultrasound assisted enema therapy can shorten the reduction time of children with intussusception, improve the success rate of reduction, and reduce the risk of conversion to surgery. At the same time,it has a significant clinical value in reducing the adverse reaction rate and recurrence risk of patients.
