Effect of Metformin Combined with Insulin Aspart on Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To explore the application effect of metformin combined with insulin aspart in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods Ninety-eight cases of gestational diabetes mellitus patients admitted to Huangdao District People's Hospital of Qingdao City from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as study subjects, and randomly divided into 49 cases each in the insulin group and the combination group. The insulin group was treated with insulin aspart alone, and the combination group was treated with insulin aspart+metformin. The blood glucose and the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcomes were compared between two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in blood glucose levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the blood glucose levels of the two groups were significantly reduced, and the combination group was significantly lower than the insulin group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the combination group was significantly lower than that in the insulin group(P<0.05).Conclusion Metformin combined with insulin aspart can enhance the effect of glycemic control and reduce the probability of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
