The Effect of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction in the Treatment of Endometriosis of Cold Coagulation and Blood Stasis Type
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Shaofu Zhuyu decoction on endometriosis of cold coagulation and blood stasis type.Methods A total of 143 patients with endometriosis of cold coagulation and blood stasis type who received the combination treatment of dydrogesterone tablets and Shaofu Zhuyu decoction at Yulin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the combination treatment group,and 37 patients with endometriosis of cold coagulation and blood stasis type who received dydrogesterone alone during the same period were selected as the control group.Observe and compare the treatment effects,incidence of adverse reactions during treatment,recurrence rate after 3-month follow-up,as well as the TCM syndrome score,quality of life,and biochemical indicators before and after treatment between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the combination treatment group was 91.61%,which was significantly higher than the control group's 70.27% (P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the combination treatment group was 11.89% (17/143),and significantly lower than 27.03% (10/37)of the control group(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment in both groups.After treatment,the scores of medical symptoms,quality of life,and biochemical indicators in both groups were significantly better than before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the combination treatment group was(5.21±0.68)points,which was significantly lower than the control group's(8.23±1.01)points(P<0.05).The quality of life score of the combination treatment group after treatment was(87.34±5.29)points,which was significantly higher than the control group's(76.64±3.75)points(P<0.05).After treatment,tumor necrosis factor-α(17.59±1.33)ng/L,interleukin-6(20.57±1.83)ng/L,and carbohydrate antigen-125(31.25±2.01)IU/L in combination treatment group were all significantly lower than the control group's(23.68±1.28)ng/L,(27.54±1.12)ng/L,and(35.11±1.62)IU/L,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion The Shaofu Zhuyu decoction combined with dydrogesterone tablets is more effective than using dydrogesterone tablets alone in the treatment of cold coagulation and blood stasis type endometriosis,and can further reduce the body's inflammatory response,reduce the risk of disease recurrence,and improve quality of life.It is worth promoting and using.
