Evaluation of Efficacy and Safety of Bifidobacteria Quadruple Viable Tablets Combined with Bacillus Licheniformis in the Treatment of Chronic Diarrhea
Objective Analyze the efficacy of Bifidobacterium bifidum quadruple viable tablets combined with Bacillus licheniformis in the treatment of chronic diarrhea and evaluate the safety of medication.Methods A total of 85 cases of chronic diarrhea patients admitted to Tianjin Public Security Hospital from October 2020 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into 43 cases in the single group and 42 cases in the combined group.The single group was treated with Bifidobacterium bifidum quadruple viable tablets,and the combined group was treated with Bifidobacterium bifidum quadruple viable tablets combined with Bacillus licheniformis.The number of strains detection before and after the treatment,clinical efficacy,antidiarrheal time,fecal characteristics and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical effectiveness rate of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the single group(P<0.05).Before treatment,the number of strains detection in the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment,the number of strains detection in the two groups improved,and the improvement in the combined group was significantly better than that in the single group(P<0.05).The antidiarrheal time and fecal formation rate of the combined group were significantly better than that of the single group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Bifidobacterium bifidum quadruple viable bacterial tablets combined with Bacillus licheniformis has definite efficacy in the treatment of chronic diarrhea,which can effectively regulate the intestinal flora,shorten the time to stop diarrhea,and has a high degree of safety.
