Effect Analysis of Operating Room Nursing on Preventing Postoperative Incision Infection in Patients Undergoing Abdominal Surgery
Objective To explore the effectiveness of applying operating room nursing in preventing postoperative incision infections in patients undergoing abdominal surgery. Methods A total of 86 patients who underwent abdominal surgery at the No.910 Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into a study group and a control group, with 43 patients in each group. The research group adopted a combination of operating room nursing and routine nursing. The control group received routine care.Compare the infection rate, nursing quality, incidence of complications, and psychological stress response before and after nursing between two groups. Results The incision infection rate in the study group was 4.65%,which was significantly lower than the control group's 18.60% (χ2=4.074,P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the control group was 30.23%,which was significantly higher than the 9.30% in the study group(P<0.05).The nursing quality scores of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group in all dimensions(P<0.05).After nursing, the psychological stress response of both groups was significantly lower than before nursing, and the study group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of operating room nursing for patients undergoing abdominal surgery can reduce postoperative incision infection rates, alleviate psychological stress reactions, and improve nursing quality. It is worth promoting and using.
