Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of arthroscopic all-inside suture method combined with autologous platelet-rich plasma(PRP)in the treatment of meniscus injury. Methods Forty-three patients with meniscus injuries treated with arthroscopic all-inside suture method combined with PRP admitted to Meizhou People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study group, and 39 patients with meniscus injuries treated with single arthroscopic all-inside suture method were selected as the control group. The signs of meniscus injuries, knee function, pain and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the study group had a significantly lower rate of joint strangulation and Mc Murray positivity than the control group, and a significantly higher rate of joint mobility than the control group(P<0.05).Tegner Knee Motion Scale(TKMS),Lysholm Knee Function Scale(LKS),Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome(KOOS)scores in the study group were significantly higher than in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The McGill score of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group after treatment, and the pressure pain threshold was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopic all-inside suture method combined with PRP in the treatment of meniscus injury can improve the clinical symptoms of patients, improve the function of the knee joint and relieve pain.
