摘要
国际书展是观察全球出版业的一个重要窗口,2024年伦敦书展作为开年的首个大型国际书展,展示了全球出版业所取得的成绩、面临的挑战以及可能的发展方向.整体来看,全球出版市场逐步从新冠疫情的影响中恢复,发展趋势较为乐观;有声读物市场不断扩大,仍然有上升的空间,尤其是非英语语种有声读物具备较大的发展潜力;版权交易是伦敦书展的重要议题;2024年伦敦书展尤其受到影视制作人的关注,其普遍希望从出版业中转化优质的版权作品;新的技术和媒体平台依然是影响出版业的重要因素;以BookTok社区为代表的平台触及更加庞大和年轻化的读者群体;人工智能技术为出版业数字化转型提供了新的契机,同时带来版权保护等问题.
Abstract
International book fair is an important window to observe the global publishing industry and the London Book Fair 2024,the first large-scale international book fair to start the year,demonstrated the achievements,challenges and possible directions of development of the global publishing industry.Overall,the global publishing market is gradually recovering from the epidemic and the future development trend is more optimistic.The audiobook market is expanding and there is still room for growth,especially in non-English language audiobooks with greater potential for development.Rights Dealing is a key issue at the London Book Fair,and London Book Fair 2024 has attracted particular attention from film and TV producers,who are generally looking to adapt high-quality copyrighted works from the publishing industry.New technologies and platforms continue to be important factors influencing the publishing industry,with the BookTok community represented by social media platforms reaching a larger and younger readership,and Al technologies providing new opportunities for digital transformation of the publishing industry,while bringing other issues such as copyright protection.
