Objective To improve the quality and efficiency through the application of RPA robot tool in hospital medical record management.Methods RPA robot WeAutomate tool was used to automatically check the data of residents,discharge date,discharge number,etc.in the home page of hospital HIS and provincial medical record statistics system every month,and automatically summarize the number of cases collected by doctors in each management bed on the 2nd day of the month.Results According to the pre-recorded inspection actions,the RPA robot carried out automatic verification of the data of HIS and the provincial medical record statistics system,such as residents,discharge date and discharge number,and then summarized the number of cases collected by each management bed doctor on the 2nd day of the month.The entire program only took 2～3 minutes to run,and the quality of medical record management was improved.Conclusion In terms of hospital medical record management,RPA robot can simulate user operations,automatically complete repetitive and tedious tasks with clear rules,improve work efficiency and accuracy,and help hospital medical record staff get rid of the daily repetitive and boring work,so as to focus on higher quality mental work.
