Availability evaluation and management of obstetric professional data
Objective To improve the quality and availability of obstetric data to meet the needs of disease diagnosis,treatment,monitoring and research.Methods Guided by the existing evaluation index system of medical quality control for obstetrics specialty,systematic availability evaluation and management of hospital obstetric data were carried out through seven steps,including clarifying the evaluation needs of indicators,identifying evaluation data,establishing evaluation mappings,defining dimensions for data quality evaluation,conducting data quality evaluation,feedback evaluation results,summary and improvement.Results An evaluation system was established for obstetric data from multiple sources.Through standardized data governance,the integrity,consistency and accuracy of data related to obstetric medical quality control and evaluation indicators were significantly improved.Conclusion The obstetric data evaluation system developed in this study can provide an effective approach for the availability evaluation of indicator data,and can serve as a reference for the quality management of evaluating indicator data.
