The Change of Cadmium Release from Domestic Porcelain Ware During Many Times Migration Experiments
Based on the previous experiments on the influence of multiple 4%acetic acid migration tests on lead migration in domestic ceramic products, this study continues to explore the influence of cadmium migration. The study focused on samples from routine commissioned tests and investigated the effects of three successive migration tests, intermittent multiple migration tests and long-term migration tests on cadmium migration levels. The results showed that:1)the cadmium migration levels in domestic ceramic products show a decreasing trend in three consecutive migration tests;2)intermittent multiple migration tests show that the interval period has a certain impact on cadmium migration, with the amount of cadmium migration rebounding after the interval period;3)after the long-term migration tests, the later cadmium dissolution capacity is related to the initial migration levels of the sample and the surface area S/soaking liquid volume V of the products.Combining with the previous study results on the influence of multiple migration tests on the migration amount of lead and the provisions of GB 31604.1-2015,it is suggested that a single migration test can be used to test the migration amount of lead and cadmium in daily ceramic products.
