Effect of Raw Material Types on the Synthesis of Hydroxyapatite Powders
In this paper, anhydrous acetic acid was used as non-aqueous solvent to synthesize hydroxyapatite powder by the non-aqueous precipitation method. The effects of calcium source, phosphorus source, reaction conditions and precursor solution concentration on the synthesis of hydroxyapatite were systematically investigated through characterization techniques such as XRD,SEM,BET,etc. The results show that the optimal calcium source and phosphorus source are calcium acetate and disodium hydrogen phosphate, respectively. When the precursor solution concentration is 0.5 mol/L,rod-shaped hydroxyapatite is prepared through the low-temperature non-aqueous precipitation method, with a specific surface area of 39.1 m2/g.This broadens the application of non-aqueous processes and provides a new reference direction for preparing ceramic powders.
