Study on the Law of Modeling Design in Changsha Kiln Ceramics during the Tang Dynasty
This study is based on the archaeological remains of Changsha kiln ceramics. From a design perspective, through comparative research, image analysis, and other methods,it analyzes the origins and evolution of Changsha kiln ceramics modeling. The study concluded that a longitudinal developmental trajectory from"imitation as the foundation"to"innovative imitation with integration, featuring diverse new types".Then, through a case study,it focuses on demonstrating three derivative pathways of Changsha kiln ceramic modeling:addition or subtraction of components, local variations, and simulation of imagery. This enriches the traditional folk crafting patterns in China and provides a gentle and unadorned guide for contemporary daily ceramic design.
