唐三彩的发现与命名考论

摘要
通过梳理《旧唐书》《新唐书》《古器物图录》等历史文献,否定了"唐三彩"发现于修建陇海铁路以及由王国维、罗振玉所命名的说法.并通过对日本及欧美相关陶瓷文献的检索对比,认为赵汝珍《古玩指南》中所提及的"唐三彩"名称应该直接挪用了日本学术界的说法,而日本学术界所使用的"唐三彩"概念则源自日本人对中国陶瓷文化的吸收与学习.
Abstract
This article combs through historical documents such as the"Old book of Tang,"the"New book of Tang,"and the"Ancient artifacts catalog"to deny the theory that"Tang tricolor"was discovered during the construction of the Longhai railway and that it was named by Wang Guowei and Luo Zhenyu.By searching and comparing relevant ceramic literature from Japan,Europe and the United States,it suggests that the term"Tang tricolor"mentioned in Zhao Ruzhen's"Antique guide"should be directly appropriated from the terminology used in Japanese academic circles.The concept of"Tang tricolor"in Japanese academia,in turn,stems from the Japanese people's absorption and study of Chinese ceramic culture.
