This article focuses on the preparation of foamed ceramics using high-alumina fly ash from the Zhungeer region and potassium feldspar from the surrounding area of Zhungeer as the main raw materials. It explores the influence of different firing systems(maximum firing temperature, holding time)on the pore structure(pore uniformity, pore size, apparent pore wall thickness)of foamed ceramic samples,as well as their bulk density, compressive strength, and water absorption rate. The research results indicate that the maximum firing temperature and insulation time have a significant impact on the compressive strength, bulk density, and water absorption rate of fly ash based foam ceramics.Within the firing range, increasing the firing temperature and prolonging the holding time will increase the pore size, improve pore uniformity, create thinner pore walls, decrease bulk density, reduce compressive strength, and increase the water absorption rate of the fired samples.
