Effect of Sintering Method on the Properties of Silicon Nitride Ceramics
Silicon Nitride ceramics possess excellent thermal conductivity,chemical stability and mechanical strength,making them widely used in various fields such as mechanical engineering,electronics,chemical industry,aerospace,and energy.Sinter-ing is a crucial step in the preparation of Silicon Nitride ceramics,and different sintering methods impact the densification,po-rosity,mechanical properties,thermal conductivity,and chemical composition of Silicon Nitride ceramics,and thus it can signifi-cantly affect their performance.This paper comprehensively discusses the main sintering methods employed in the production of Silicon Nitride ceramics and their effects on ceramic properties,meanwhile,it attempts to provide an outlook for future research directions.
