Study on Carbon Footprint of Architectural Ceramics Production Based on Material Balance Method
As one of the industries with high Carbon emission,it is of great significance to study the Carbon footprint of architec-tural ceramic production industry in the context of dual Carbon to promote the Carbon emission reduction and green development of architectural ceramic enterprises. At present, architectural ceramics are mostly mixed and continuous production of multiple varieties of products, resulting in enterprises unable to accurately understand the Carbon emissions of each product, and it is very difficult for enterprises to make product decisions. This paper takes the Carbon footprint of architectural ceramics production as the main line, firstly uses the material balance theory to build a mathematical model of Carbon emission of architectural ceramics production, and then analyzes and calculates the electricity and coal consumption of each production link of architectural ceramics. The Carbon emission values of each link and the whole line were calculated by Carbon emission factor method. The results show that the deviation between the analysis results of the mathematical model of Carbon emission constructed in this paper and the total Car-bon emission calculated according to actual production is within 7%,which indicates that the mathematical model can accurately analyze the Carbon emission value of different links of different products and the total Carbon emission value of production.
