In the post-modern society,the design of traditional ceramic patterns may no longer be a matter of image,rather,the beauty it exhibits should encompass more of the emotional category.It is about establishing a narrative for traditional ceramic patterns,transforming them into an"event"or"objects that evoke poetic responses."Telling the story behind the motifs and re-understanding the changing relationship between people and the motifs and the objects attached to them may be the direction for the development of traditional ceramic decorative patterns in contemporary art design.
