In the 21st century,with the rapid development of cutting-edge science and technology,the rapid change of economic society and art design concept,contemporary ceramic design presents diversified new development trends.This paper summarizes development trends of contemporary ceramic design:retro design,emotional design and interactive design,post-industrial design and green design,intermelting design of studio ceramics and industrial ceramics,as well as digital design and high-tech design.Then analyzes and explains their respective design concepts and characteristics.
