The Influence of Overexpressed BvALKBH10B Gene on Salt Tolerance in Arabidopsis Thaliana
N6-methyladenosine(m6 A)modification on RNA is a crucial epigenetic alteration known to partici-pate in regulating plant-environment interactions and plays a vital role in plant adaptation to environmental stresses.Previous studies have suggested that the beet RNA demethylase gene BvALKBH10B may play a signifi-cant regulatory role in m6A-mediated salt stress responses. This study evaluates the salt tolerance function of the BvALKBH10B gene by generating transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana overexpressing the gene. The findings con-tribute to a better understanding of the epigenetic mechanisms underlying salt tolerance in beets and provide ex-cellent candidate genes for improving salt-tolerant beet varieties.
