Mid Infrared Spectroscopy Study on the Solution Structure of Glucose/water System
The structure of glucose/water solution system was studied using mid infrared(MIR)spectroscopy. The infrared absorption modes of the main functional groups of glucose/water solution system include water mole-cule associative O-H functional group vibration mode(νO-H-associative-water),glucose molecule CH2 functional group asymmetric stretching vibration mode(νasCH2),water molecule O-H functional group bending vibration mode(δO-H-water),coupled with of CH2 functional group bending vibration and several bending vibration of func-tional groups such as OCH,CCH,COH etc(δCH2+δOCH+δCCH+δCOH),C-O functional groups in COH struc-ture stretching vibration mode(νC-O-COH),C-O functional group on sugar ring structure stretching vibration mode(νC-O-sugar ring),OCH functional group bending vibration(δOCH),C-O-H functional group bending vi-bration(δC-O-H),C-C-H functional group and O-C-H functional group bending vibration(δC-C-H+δO-C-H).As the glucose content increases in the glucose/water solution system, the hydrogen bonding between water molecules is further enhanced. This study expands the scope of MIR spectroscopy technology in the study of glucose/aqueous solution system structures and has important application value.
