Objective To analyze the relationship between attitude, effect and cognitive function of hearing aid use in patients with senile hearing loss. Methods 100 patients with senile hearing loss admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to August 2024 were included as research objects. The patients'general information, hearing aid wearing attitude, hearing aid wearing effect evaluated by International Outcome Inventory for Hearing Aid Effects(IOI-HA)and cognitive function by Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)were investigated. The influencing factors for hearing aid wearing in patients with senile hearing loss were analyzed, and the attitude and effect of hearing aid wearing in cognitive function were compared.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the relationship among hearing aid wearing attitude, hearing aid wearing effect and cognitive function in patients with senile hearing loss. Results In 100 patients with senile hearing loss, the cognitive score was 18.86±2.27 points, the emotional score was 8.81±1.85 points and the behavioral tendency score was 25.89±2.66 points in wearing attitude, the score of IOI-HA was 24.45±3.01 points,MoCA score was 26.56±1.74 points.Age,education level, family monthly income and cognitive function were the influencing factors of hearing aid wearing effect in patients with senile hearing loss(P<0.05).The dimensions of cognitive, emotional and behavioral tendency in hearing aid wearing attitude of normal cognitive function patients were significantly higher than those of disabled cognitive function patients(P<0.05).Hearing aid wearing attitude score and IOI-HA score were correlated with MoCA score in patients with senile hearing loss(P<0.05).Conclusions The wearing attitude and wearing effect of hearing AIDS in patients with senile hearing loss are related to their cognitive function, and cognitive function, age, education level and family monthly income are related factors affecting the wearing effect of patients.
