Research on Spatial Vitality Evaluation and Enhancement Strategies of Public Sports Venues Based on Multi-source Data
Public sports venues serve as crucial material carriers for providing national fitness public services,and their spatial vitality is an important indicator to assess the level of venue operation and management.The spatial vitality of 160 venues in Hubei Province was measured,evaluated and analyzed by GIS spatial analysis.The spatial vitality of venues of different types,levels,and operating entities were compared and analyzed.The multi-scale geographically weighted regression model and geographical detectors were introduced to explore the influence of the surrounding built environment and internal factors on the venues spatial vitality from macro and micro perspectives respectively.The research reveals that:1)There are spatial differ-entiation characteristics in the spatial vitality of venues in Hubei Province,with a mismatch between venue resources and spatial vitality;2)the spatial vitality of the venues shows charac-teristics that the provincial level is higher than municipal level and county level,the gymnasi-ums and swimming pools are higher than stadiums,and national fitness centers,venues operat-ed by public institutions demonstrate higher vitality compared to those managed by corporate enterprises;3)the spatial vitality of the venues is positively influenced by population density and road network density among the built environment factors,negatively affected by economic density,and significantly associated with the number of fixed seat,venue area,visitor reception,and the number of sports events.The study suggests to optimize the spatial layout of venues and integrate them into the overall urban planning;strengthen the infrastructure construction,en-hance the service environments of venues;improve the level of operation and management,pro-mote the efficient utilization of venues;promote equal basic public services for regional coordi-nated development;coordinate social benefits and economic benefits,achieve a balanced and win-win development.
