The Logical Justification,Practical Challenges,and Codification Concept of Promoting a Leading Sporting Nation through Rule of Law in the New Era
Building China into a leading sporting nation is identified as a significant task within China's 14th Five-Year Plan,being an essential component of the construction of a strong so-cialist modern country.The advancement of a leading sporting nation through the application of sports rule of law is propelled by a combination of political logics,economic logics,and social logics,which are interrelated,mutually influential,and symbiotic.The robust legal support for the governance of a leading sporting nation in the new era is provided by the implementation of Law of the People's Republic of China on Sports(2022 Revision).Nevertheless,due to the ex-isting deficiencies in China's sports legal system,such as the regulatory foundation,the alloca-tion of rights and responsibilities,remedies,and coordination mechanisms,the realization of sports rule of law is still confronted with many challenges.To tackle these challenges,the inte-gration of sports regulations,optimization of rights and responsibilities,the resolution of sports disputes,and the cohesion of domestic and international rules can be accomplished through the codification of sports law.At present,China has attained a stage of maturity suitable for codify-ing the code of sports law,and the national legislature can adopt an update strategy to compile the code of sports law code,to provide a solid legal guarantee for the high-quality development of China's sports undertakings.
