扫码查看
To Marguerite is an English poem written by Matthew Arnold who is a literary critic in Victorian Age. According to the translation of To Marguerite, some appreciation of the poem and some commentary on the version wil be given. In detail, images of the poem wil be analyzed and some dif erent types of words (verbs, adverbs. etc) and some sentences wil be discussed in the essay. Based on the discussion of the poem and its translation, it is claimed that the concept of“translator’s invisibility” (a good translation doesn’t seem like a translation) should be fol owed instead of fol owing the original syntactic order in poetry translation.
