In order to improve the teaching quality, deep education reform and promote the teaching effect of garden botany course, this paper discusses the characteristics of garden botany course, analyzes the special requirements of urban planning profession for garden botany curriculum and puts forward teaching reform measures of the garden botany according to the urban planning professional training objectives and teaching plan, provide the reference of curriculum reform of garden botany for urban planning profession of other col eges .
