This paper briefly introduces the significance of portfolio in evaluation, and specifical y interprets the establishment of portfolio for viewing, listening and speaking, and its application to English teaching. Through the use of portfolio for viewing, listening and speaking, students are able to judge their own strengths and weaknesses, and carry out positive reflections, which can stimulate their learning interest and enthusiasm and improve their ability of English viewing, listening and speaking.
