Outline of Cultural Heritage and Social Development
Cultural heritage and social development constitute a crucial research field within the broader scope of cultural heri-tage.This field focuses on the approaches for utilizing,revitalizing,and transforming cultural heritage,alongside its interaction with social development,based on the compositions and connotations of intrinsic and extrinsic values of cultural heritage.It is character-ized by applicability,interdisciplinary nature,openness,and growth potential.Delving into the research field,this paper systematically and thoroughly explores target features and value meanings.Building on this exploration,it argues that the academic and practical significance of cultural heritage and social development manifests in promoting value evacuation and cognitive interpretation,enhancing cultural heritage conservation and inheritance,deepening effec-tive utilization and integrated coexistence,facilitating sustainable and coordinated development of society,and so on.According to research cases and focuses,this paper adopts theories and methodologies from diverse disciplines of philosophy,economics,sociol-ogy,and tourism,including Marist theory of social development impetus,ethical care and spatial justice,the tragedy of the commons and game theory,spatial production and organic renewal,and life cycle and sustainable development.It encompasses various research directions and application paths,such as resource identification and re-excavation,spatial planning and reproduction,culture and tour-ism integration and industrial development,heritage conservation and public sharing,and contemporary innovation of heritage value.Meanwhile,it is essential to consider the balance between conservation and utilization,between conservation and development,be-tween professional requirements and public demands,and between static conservation and dynamic inheritance.This paper presents a comprehensive analysis,theoretical reflection,and discursive research of the relationship between cultural heritage conservation and social development.It holds academic and practical significance in promoting the coordinated integration of systematic conservation and effective utilization of cultural heritage,as well as facilitating the coordinated development and harmony between cultural heritage conservation and utilization with society.
