Progress,Hotspots,and Trends of Research on Red Cultural Heritage in China
Red cultural heritage,with unique value and special historical significance,possesses both material and spiritual at-tributes,serving as a distinctive product of China's historical development with a clear national character and contemporary value.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),China's attention to red cultural heritage has steadily increased,holding significant research value.However,existing literature on red cultural heritage often approaches from a singular perspective,lacking comprehensive discussions on hot topics and trends,and failing to provide an overall exploration of its research status.Red cultural heritage is a kind of unique heritage of a special historical period in China,and the study of red cultural heritage con-tributes to enriching the cultural heritage research system.Employing a combination of CiteSpace literature quantitative analysis and text research,this paper systematically reviews research on red cultural heritage in China over the past 30 years,including its concept,types,stages of development,disciplinary fields,and research methods.Based on this,this paper provides a critical assessment of the perspectives and hotspots in red cultural heritage research and concludes with future research prospects.The evolution of research hotspots over the past 30 years indicates a shift in focus from the study of material carriers to the exploration of the spiritual aspects of red cultural heritage.The disciplinary fields covered are broad,and research methods have gradually evolved from traditional qualita-tive approaches to incorporating digital technology for quantification.Research perspectives mainly center around ideological and po-litical education,tourism,conservation and development,landscape planning and design,digitization,and legislative protection.The research hotspots are mainly on areas such as red tourism,communication strategies,and the value of red heritage.This paper expands on previous studies in two main aspects.Firstly,it adopts a mixed research method,integrating quantitative and qualitative research to analyze the domestic research status of red cultural heritage from a more comprehensive perspective.Sec-ondly,it analyzes both the longitudinal evolution and the longitudinal highlight perspectives,subdividing the research timeframe into the past 30 years and the recent 5 years,further exploring the evolution of research hotspots and trends.This paper reveals the research progress,hotspots,and trends of China's red cultural heritage over the past 30 years.The re-search findings aim to provide reference and guidance for in-depth theoretical research and practical exploration in the field of red cultural heritage in China.
