Analysis of the Epidemic Characteristics of Viral Hepatitis in Tongzhou District,Nantong City From 2013 to 2022
Objective To analyze the epidemic characteristics of viral hepatitis in Tongzhou district,Nantong city from January 2013 to December 2022,and provide scientific basis for the district health administrative department to formulate targeted prevention and control strategies and measures.Methods Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the reported data of viral hepatitis in Tongzhou district,Nantong city from 2013 to 2022,and the comparison of rates was conducted usingχ2 tests,P<0.05 indicates a statistically significant difference.Results A total of 2 391 cases of viral hepatitis were reported in Tongzhou district of Nantong city from 2013 to 2022,with an annual average incidence rate of 0.189‰.No deaths due to viral hepatitis have been reported.In the reported cases,the gender ratio was 1.89:1.The age group of 40 to 64 had the highest number of reported cases,accounting for 58.34%of the total number of reported cases.The occupational classification was mainly based on farmers,household chores and unemployed,workers,retired personnel,and cadres and staff.The number of reported cases slightly increased in the spring season,and overall,the seasonal changes were not significant.The high-risk areas were Xingren Town,Xingdong street,and Jinsha street.Conclusion From 2013 to 2022,the reported incidence rate of viral hepatitis in Tongzhou district of Nantong city showed a slow upward trend,and hepatitis B was relatively obvious.In order to protect the health and life safety of the people,comprehensive prevention and control strategies and measures were taken to strengthen the prevention and control of viral hepatitis.
