The Impact of Human Resource Management on Improving Employee Satisfaction in a Maternal and Child Health Hospital of a Certain Province
Objective To explore the impact of human resource management in Fujian Maternal and Child Health Hospital on improving employee satisfaction.Methods The research object was the employee satisfaction survey data from the third-party satisfaction survey conducted by Fujian Provincial Maternal and Children's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2022 in the province.Since 2020,hospitals had been optimizing human resource management,including implementing a distinctive retention mechanism,improving employee performance management,constructing a salary incentive system,strengthening employee education and training,and strengthening the protection of employees'legitimate rights and interests.The satisfaction scores of hospital employees on work status,work environment,hospital management,department collaboration,salary and job matching,and career development prospects before and after human resource management optimization(January December 2019)and after(January 2020 to December 2022)were compared.Results In 2019,2020,2021,and 2022,the satisfaction scores of hospital employees towards work status,work environment,hospital management,department collaboration,salary and job matching,and career development prospects were compared,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of various indicators of hospital employees in 2020,2021,and 2022 were higher than those in 2019,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After optimizing human resource management for three years,the satisfaction score of hospital staff in various indicators was the highest in 2022[Work status(94.17±3.27)points,work environment(94.44±4.15)points,hospital management(94.96±3.77)points,department collaboration(95.15±3.74)points,salary and job matching(91.62±4.81)points,and career development prospects(92.25±6.13)points],and the difference was statistically significant compared to 2020 and 2021(P<0.05).Conclusion Optimizing human resource management can effectively improve employee satisfaction,motivate and mobilize employees'work enthusiasm and enthusiasm,which is conducive to improving work efficiency and quality,and promoting the sustained and healthy development of hospitals.
