Investigation on the Current Situation of Mental Health Institutions in Harbin in 2022
Objective To explore the basic situation and operating status of mental institutions in Harbin.Methods The data of mental health service resources were collected from 56 medical institutions with psychiatric departments in Harbin through self-made questionnaire from January to December 2022.Results There were 22 mental health institutions in Harbin,with 7 107 authorized psychiatric inpatient beds.There were 3 701 mental health workers,including 505 psychiatrists(13.64%).There were 308 178 psychiatric outpatients,547 emergency services and 37 057 discharged inpatients.The average burden of each psychiatrist was 610 outpatients and 73 discharged inpatients.Conclusion The allocation of mental health institutions in Harbin City is insufficient and the workload of psychiatrists is large,which is difficult to meet the increasing demand for mental health services.
