In the context of"greathealth",the public health talent team in Chinaplays a crucial role in disease prevention and control.In recent years,the allocation of public health personnel in Shanghai has been optimized to some extent.However,there are insufficient and uneven distribution of public health professionals within the scope of community prevention and control.As of the end of 2021,the number of public health personnel per thousand permanent residents in Shanghai was only 0.576,lower than the national average of 0.640,and there is a significant gap from the expected goals.The main difficulties encountered by the staff in the community public health work this time are heavy workload,insufficient manpower,lack of previous cases to learn from,and shortage of materials.The construction of the future community public health talent team should start from multiple aspects,transform the training mode of public health talents,cultivate composite talents,help build a strong public health system,and weave a dense and solid public health prevention and control network.
