Effect of Rapid Rehabilitation Nursing Mode on Elderly Patients With Chronic Sinusitis Undergoing Nasal Endoscopic Surgery
Objective To investigate the intervention effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing mode in elderly patients with chronic sinusitis undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 114 elderly patients with chronic sinusitis undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected and divided into study group and control group by random number table method, with 57 cases in each group. The control group and research group were respectively treated with routine nursing intervention and rapid rehabilitation nursing mode, and the nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the score of Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)(6.22±1.56)points and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)(6.77±1.53)points was lower in the study group than control group(9.64±2.91)points and(10.46±2.78)points(t=7.820,8.779,P<0.05).The study group scores of dry mouth, tinnitus, tearing and eye pain, headache, nasal congestion and nasal pain were all lower than control group(P<0.05).The study group quality of life WHO quality of life-100(WHOQOL-100)score was higher than control group(P<0.05).The study group of Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)was lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Rapid rehabilitation nursing mode can not only effectively alleviate negative emotions, but also significantly reduce clinical symptoms and improve quality of life and sleep in elderly patients with chronic sinusitis undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery. The results of this study provide references for the formulation of perioperative nursing standards for elderly patients with chronic sinusitis undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery.
