Effect of Continuous Quality Improvement on the Prevention of Medical Device-Related Stress Injuries in Operating Room
Objective To investigate the preventive effect of continuous quality improvement on medical device-related stress injury in operating room. Methods A total of 200 surgical patients admitted to the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University from March 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects, and divided into 100 patients in each group according to the order of admission time.Patients admitted from March to August 2022 were the control group, and patients admitted from September 2022 to February 2023 were the observation group. The control group was managed by conventional methods, while the observation group was managed by continuous quality improvement methods. The probability of medical device-related stress injury in the operating room was compared between the two groups, and the differences in hospital stay and operation time between the two groups were analyzed. Results The incidence of medical device-related stress injury in the operating room in the observation group was 2.00%,lower than that in the control group(17.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The length of hospital stay and operation time in observation group was shorter than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the process of prevention of medical device-related stress injury in operating room, continuous quality improvement can reduce the incidence of medical device-related stress injury in operating room, shorten the operation time and hospital stay of patients.
