Effect of Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery in the Treatment of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and Its Impact on Immune Function
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and its impact on immune function.Methods A total of 96 patients diagnosed with NSCLC admitted to department of thoracic surgery,Quanzhou First Hospital from October 2019 to October 2021 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method,with 48 cases in each group.The study group was treated with video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery,while the control group was treated with conventional surgery.The perioperative relevant indexes of the two groups were compared,the inflammatory indexes and immune function indexes of the two groups were detected before and 3 days after surgery,and the incidence of postoperative complications were counted.Results The intraoperative blood loss of the study group was lower than that of the control group,and the postoperative drainage catheter indentation,postoperative analgesia time and hospitalization time were shorter than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in preoperative inflammatory and immune function indicators(P>0.05).Three days after surgery,the inflammatory indicators in the two groups increased compared to those before surgery,with the degree of improvement in the research group being lower than that in the control group,while the serum immune function indicators decreased compared to those before surgery,with the degree of decrease in the research group being lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 4.17%,which was lower than that in the control group(18.75%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery can reduce intraoperative bleeding,shorten postoperative drainage tube indwelling time,postoperative analgesia time,and hospital stay in patients with NSCLC.It has a small impact on inflammatory and immune function indicators,and has a lower incidence of postoperative complications.
