Effect of Butylohthalide Capsules Combined With Edaravone in CVS After Surgery for Spontaneous Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
Objective To explore the application value of butylohthalide capsule combined with edaravone in cerebral vasospasm(CVS)after surgery for spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage and analyze its influence on cerebrospinal fluid red blood cells and nerve function. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 80 patients with CVS after surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage treated in Shantou Hospital Affiliated to Sun Yat Sen University/Shantou Central Hospital from February 2020 to February 2022,and they were divided into 2 groups according to medication methods. On the basis of comprehensive treatment, the control group(n=40)was treated with edaravone, and the study group(n=40)was treated combined with butylohthalide capsule. The cerebrospinal fluid red blood cell values, neurological function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After 7 and 14 d of treatment, the cerebrospinal fluid red blood cell count of the two groups gradually decreased, and the cerebrospinal fluid red blood cell count of the study group was(32.52±3.54)×1012/L and(5.52±1.58)×1012/L,respectively.It was lower than that of control group(40.20±8.21)×1012/L,(10.25±1.65)×1012/L,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).On 7 and 14 days after treatment, the National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)score of the 2 groups was gradually decreased, and the study group was lower; The Barthel index increased gradually in all subjects, and was higher in the study group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The butylohthalide capsule combined with edaravone in CVS after surgery for spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage can improve the microcirculation and brain tissue perfusion, which is conducive to the recovery of nerve function without increasing adverse reactions.
