Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Qufeng recipe in the treatment of uremia skin pruritus.Methods A total of 100 patients with stage 4-5 chronic kidney disease(CKD)who met the diagnostic criteria for uremic pruritus admitted to the department of nephrology,Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Seventh People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into 2 groups with 50 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with Qufeng recipe(self-made formula+triamcinolone acetonide+sodium thiosulfate compound),and the control group was treated with triamcinolone acetonide acetate cream.Laboratory test parameters,such as white blood cells(WBC),C-reactive protein(CRP),neutrophil percentage(N),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin 6(IL-6),β2-microglobulin(β2-MG),etc were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment,scoring atopic dermatitis(SCORAD)and the efficacy rate of main symptoms were compared.The curative effect was evaluated comprehensively.Results SCORAD score,efficacy rate of main symptoms and laboratory examination indexes of 2 groups after treatment were better than before treatment,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group(82.00%)was better than that of the control group(54.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Both groups were effective for uremic pruritus,but the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.The research results of this article provide reference content for the formulation of late stage standards for chronic kidney disease related pruritus.
