Objective To promote the standardization of hospital material procurement work and continuous improvement of work quality by using the continuous"plan-do-check-act(PDCA)"cycle improvement method.Methods From January 2019 to December 2022,the PDCA method was applied to the procurement of medical equipment,reagent consumables,and logistic materials in hospitals.Based on research and analysis,a series of systems were developed and strengthened to classify and analyze the problems found in the first round of PDCA cycle.The second and third rounds of PDCA were carried out.Results By using the continuous PDCA method,the standardization and quality of hospital material procurement work have been continuously improved.Conclusion By establishing budget awareness,improving institutional processes,strengthening information construction,and emphasizing collaborative communication,the use of continuous PDCA method can effectively improve the quality of procurement work and ensure the standardization of hospital procurement work.
